Be Wealthy. Feel Wealthy. Realize Your Wealth™

Will Simpson and Greg Wise

December 29, 2025

The numbers. The emotion. The experience. What it means to Realize Your Wealth™.

A video in which Greg and I reflect on 2025 and walk through the numbers, the emotion, and the experience of realizing your wealth.

Markets were relatively calm this week, which is typical for this time of year, but there were still a few notable themes beneath the surface. With holiday-thinned trading, U.S. equities edged modestly higher as markets moved into the traditional Santa Claus rally period. Moves were small, but the overall tone remained constructive, with major indexes holding near recent highs. In Canada, the TSX saw lighter activity due to the Boxing Day holiday, while international markets were mixed amid uneven participation globally.

One of the more interesting developments this week was in commodities. Gold pushed to fresh all-time highs, highlighting continued demand for diversification and defensive assets even as equities remain well supported. Elsewhere, leadership remained concentrated in large-cap technology and AI-related names, while materials and mining stocks also benefited from strength across metals.

Looking ahead, as we move into the final days of the year and early January, markets will be watching whether this positive year-end tone carries through into 2026. Inflation trends and interest-rate expectations remain front of mind, alongside whether corporate earnings, particularly in technology and AI-driven areas, continue to justify recent leadership. At the same time, ongoing policy and geopolitical developments are likely to keep volatility elevated, reinforcing the importance of diversification and investment discipline as the new year begins.

If you have any family or friends that we may be able to help, we are here as a resource. We are here working for you.
